River is an electric vehicle startup building multi-utility scooters. The company builds products ground up with a strong focus on design and engineering. Currently, the company is in the expansion stage with our factory being set up and getting ready for our vehicle delivery in August. River is a fast growing company with a team of 200+ right now and is backed by marquee international investors - these are mobility focused funds backed by some of the big names in the automotive industry.

  • With 200 plus products delivered from Oct 2023, our primary objectives include achieving a positive gross margin for our flagship model, the Indie, expanding our presence to encompass at least 50 outlets, and attaining a production scale of at least 3500 units per month.
  • A new lead investor, Yamaha has been added to our cap table and board, with $40 million investment alongside continued participation from existing investors with a total of $68 Million of funding.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing our social media presence, handling online reputation management (ORM) across various digital platforms, and supporting the marketing team with reporting and analysis. Additionally, the intern will serve as a liaison to external production agencies, collaborating on shoots and other marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Social Media Management:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and appropriately.
  • Engage with followers and foster positive relationships with the online community.

2) Online Reputation Management (ORM):

  • Monitor and manage our online reputation on platforms beyond social media, such as review sites, forums, and other digital spaces.
  • Address customer feedback, reviews, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement strategies to maintain and enhance our brand reputation online.

3) Reporting and Analysis:

  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data from various marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Generate reports on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine strategies based on data-driven insights.

4) Liaison to External Production Agencies:

  • Coordinate with external production agencies to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns, including photo/video shoots, ad creation, etc.
  • Accompany production teams on shoots and assist with on-site coordination and support.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the company and external partners, facilitating communication and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
  • Prior experience in social media management, ORM, or marketing analytics is a plus.
