Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sous Chef at Chef Jasper, located in Longueuil, QC. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the head chef in managing a kitchen serving 170 meals, supervising staff, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of food preparation.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing and leading a kitchen team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and leadership abilities
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to adapt to changing menus and requirements
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant culinary certifications or a culinary degree is a plus
